Sergeant Hayes notes, "When we encountered the RTC360s, they were game changers for our department," emphasizing how the quick scanning capability—"a minute and a half to do one scan location"—has significantly enhanced their efficiency.
Officer Bain adds, "The clarity of the imagery has just improved so much," leading to greater buy-in from detectives.
They also share experiences from various projects, including scanning the entire counselling centre at Texas Christian University, the First United Methodist Church, and other high-profile venues like the Texas Motor Speedway and downtown train stations.
These projects aim to enhance emergency preparedness and response by creating detailed, accessible digital maps of important locations. They also explore the future potential of integrating AI and GPS tracking for improved safety and command control during critical incidents.
