Hexagon Geosystems makes a splash at the 2015 GEO Business Show in London

We recently attended the 2015 GEO Business Show held in Islington, London on 27 and 28 May, representing the Hexagon Geosystems brand as an “Employer of Choice” at our Careers booth.

It was great to see the Leica Geosystems booth in all of its glory, complete with a bit of “cloak and dagger” about one of our upcoming releases – very captivating! If some of the delegates were not a fan of the red logo, then they were going to be bitterly disappointed at this year’s show, as we had amazing representation of our brand across the whole conference venue.

While the GEO Business Show is not a dedicated careers event, we made contact with a large number of industry professionals who were interested in employment opportunities within Hexagon Geosystems and its brand network. There were also a number of graduates from Surveying, Engineering and IT disciplines who were keen to launch a career with us, some of whom hadn’t previously entertained the idea of using their application knowledge for a position in a technology company.

It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to tell the Hexagon Geosystems story, the long and successful history of Leica Geosystems, and to highlight some of the exciting new brands that have also joined our organisation in more recent years. In particular, there was a lot of interest around working with our impressive Leica scanning technologies, our Aibotix drones, and Hexagon Mining solutions. Our commitment to innovation and the truly global nature of our business were also key points of interest.

Stairway to Heaven At the stand
